When it comes to content marketing, one of the most important things you can do is create a brand voice that people can latch onto. This isn't as hard as it may seem--in fact, all it takes is a little bit of personality.

There are tons of different ways to add personality to your brand voice, but here are some tips to get you started with bringing your brand voice together with the personality of your business.

Avoid Sounding to Corporate

When most people think of brands, the adjectives that come to mind are usually things like "corporate," "stuffy," and "serious." While those traits might be desirable for some brands, they're not working for everyone.

If you want your brand to connect with customers personally, you need to find a way to make it seem less corporate and more approachable. One way to do that is by injecting some personality into your branding.

There are many different ways to do this, but you should ensure you connect with your consumers by making it seem like you're talking to a close friend.

Use the Right Words

There is a lot of discussion surrounding what words to use when creating branded content. The right words will help your content resonate with your audience and create a connection. However, it's not just about using the right words – it's also about using them correctly.

When creating branded content, it's essential to consider the tone and approach you want to take. For example, if you're targeting a younger demographic, you might want to use more informal language. Conversely, if you're targeting an older demographic, you might want to use more formal language to engage and connect with them.

Become a Storyteller

Your brand's voice is the key to telling your story. It's what will set you apart from everyone else and make you unique. When you find your voice and use it to tell your story, you'll be able to connect with your audience on a deeper level. They'll feel like they know you, and they'll be more likely to trust you and your brand.

Your story doesn't have to be complicated or dramatic. In fact, it's often best when it's simple and easy to understand. Just make sure that your voice conveys the company's personality because your followers will notice differences between what you say your company is about and what you put out there for people to see.

Use a Unique Writing Style

There are a million ways to write, and a million ways to make your writing interesting. However, there are a few things that all great viral content has in common.

For starters, it's important to be authentic. Don't try to be someone you're not. Write the way you talk, and use the same tone you would use when speaking to a friend. This will make your content more relatable and interesting.

You also need to be creative and think outside the box. Don't just write about the same old things.

Brand Voice & Personality

Before you can begin to create content, it's essential you infuse your brand voice into the personality of the company. You should avoid sounding too corporate and select a specific writing style for your brand to do this.
